Aspatria Farmers Announces Store Refurbishment
Aspatria Farmers, the UK’s oldest farmer-owned cooperative, based in Aspatria, is delighted to announce the refurbishment of its flagship store on Station Road, Aspatria. Months in the planning, the project is designed to transform the shopping experience for customers and further invest in the future of the cooperative.
The refurbishment includes a complete new shop layout and design, upgraded flooring throughout, and improvements to office facilities. A key feature of the investment is the creation of a brand-new Children’s Toy Barn, with Phase 1 of this development already nearing completion.
To safely complete the works, the store will close temporarily from 12.00pm on Friday 29th and all day Saturday 30th August. It will reopen on Monday 1st September with some restrictions in place while final works are completed. The project is on track to finish by mid-September, and will complete with a grand re-launch event, where everyone is warmly invited to come and see the improvements.
Ian Buchanan, CEO of Aspatria Farmers, commented:
“This refurbishment represents our commitment to investing in our customers, and our community. We are creating a more modern, welcoming environment that will better serve everyone who visits our Aspatria store.”
'Not Just For Farmers'
Customers can follow the progress on Aspatria Farmers’ social media channels and are encouraged to call in to see the changes as they happen.
The store will remain open throughout most of the refurbishment period, ensuring continued service to members and customers with minimal disruption.
The Aspatria store offers a comprehensive range of products to serve the needs of the local community and countryside customers. Shoppers will find quality country clothing, footwear including wellies and boots, an extensive selection of pet and equine supplies as well as home improvement, garden and more.
